CHARCOAL, c’est d’abord 4 passionnés de Hard Rock dont l’addiction positive se situe quelque part entre Motörhead et Mötley Crüe et qui se réunissent en 2023 pour charbonner à la création d’un répertoire original, sincère et respectueux de leurs idoles… C’est ensuite une bande composée d’un bassiste-chanteur fan de Thin Lizzy (dont le timbre vocal se situe aux frontières d’un Danko Jones et d’un Kravitz énervé), d’un cogneur multi récidiviste aux nombreuses expériences qui ne jure que par Bonham ou Tommy Lee, d’un rythmique porté par l’amour d’un Faster Pussycat ou d’un Backyard Babies et enfin un «BG» aux doigts agiles qui s’est trompé de quelques décennies et rêve d’égaler un Slash ou Tremonti !

Vous l’aurez compris, le bon goût, l’amour de la disto, d’Hollywood Boulevard et des chevelures crêpées définissent pleinement l’étendue artistique de leur talent !

Mais Charcoal c’est surtout un premier EP qui sort le 3 Mai 2024, un premier clip étonnant qui arrive dans la foulée, des vestes à patchs, une tête de bouc en guise de logo, de la poésie anglosaxonne assumée ainsi que des concerts avec Koritni, Locomuerte, Buckcherry, Grand Slam et plein d’autres belles choses à venir…

Bref une belle histoire qui commence pour un combo soudé réuni dans l’amour du Rock à décibels !

Biography

CHARCOAL is first of all 4 Hard Rock enthusiasts whose positive addiction lies somewhere between Motörhead and Mötley Crüe and who come together in 2023 to work on the creation of an original, sincere and respectful repertoire of their idols. … It is then a band made up of a bassist-singer fan of Thin Lizzy (whose vocal timbre is on the borders of a Danko Jones and an angry Kravitz), a multi-recidivist hitter with numerous experiences who swears only by Bonham or Tommy Lee, a rhythm carried by the love of a Faster Pussycat or a Backyard Babies and finally a “ handsome guy ” with agile fingers who was wrong by a few decades and dreams of equaling a Slash or Tremonti!

You will have understood, good taste, love of distortion, Hollywood Boulevard and backcombed hair fully define the artistic extent of their talent!

But Charcoal is above all a first EP which will be released on May 3, 2024, an astonishing first clip which arrives immediately, patched jackets, a goat’s head as a logo, assertive Anglo-Saxon poetry as well as concerts with Koritni, Locomuerte, Buckcherry, Grand Slam and many other great things to come…

In short, a beautiful story that begins for a united combo united in the love of Rock at decibels!
